Households who are also eligible for a rebate from the Provincial Education Tax Assistance for Seniors program will receive both rebates in one cheque.
2. Provincial - Education Property Tax Assistance for Seniors Program
The Government of Alberta rebates senior homeowners for the increase in the education portion of their property taxes. You only need to apply once. Rebate cheques are mailed in the summer after the property tax notices have been issued. Cheques are mailed in late July. For further details visit www.health.alberta.ca
3. Provincial - Seniors Property Tax Deferral Program (NEW)
