Integrated Transportation Master Plan 2012
The Integrated Transportation Master Plan (ITMP) 2012 was approved by the Council on November 20th, 2012. The ITMP is a strategic planning document that advances corporate direction while providing a vision and strategic direction for the provision of transportation services. The ITMP) vision aligns with the Strathcona County’s Corporate Strategic Plan as well as Social, Environmental and Economic Sustainability framework. The ITMP vision articulates how the County can move forward by defining specific strategic goals and suitable actions plan to get there and ways to measure progress.

Integrated Transportation Master Plan 2012
Developed through community input Public input was a key part of the review and development of the new plan. The input received was considered together with the economic, social and safety benefits of a well-maintained road network, and the need to protect the environment.
Wye Road Transportation Planning
Through this study, Strathcona County is in the process of developing plans to meet the long-term traffic demand (pedestrian and vehicle) on Wye Road between Ordze Road and Highway 21.
Industrial Heartland Development
Strathcona County (Alberta’s Industrial Heartland) has had a dramatic period of growth over the last three years and is considered one of the top areas in North America for future growth.
