Business Seminars
Business Startup Seminars

The Business Startup Seminars are an annual series of workshops for new business entrepreneurs. The seminars are presented by the Sherwood Park & District Chamber of Commerce and Strathcona County Economic Development and Tourism.
The four-week seminar series introduces students to each step in the process of starting a business. Topics include planning, financing, staffing, marketing and incorporation. At each session, business professionals provide expert lessons, drawing on personal experiences from the real world. Each session is facilitated.
The 2012 seminars attracted 19 students, and took place in March. Strathcona County would like to thank the Sherwood Park & District Chamber of Commerce, as well as our sponsors: Alberta Treasury Branch and Royal Bank of Canada.
As well, we would like to thank all presenters, students, and facilitator Jim Ewing of Pro-Vision Solutions.
