Restricted burning areas
Fires which are classified under the category of permitted burning (requiring a permit) are prohibited at all times in all of the following hamlets:
- Antler Lake
- Ardrossan
- Collingwood Cove
- Half Moon Lake
- Hastings Lake
- Josephburg
- North Cooking Lake
- Sherwood Park (urban service area)
- South Cooking Lake
Only non-permitted (burning allowed without a permit) fires are allowed in any of these areas. This type of fire is allowed without a permit, except under a Fire Ban.
