Community Education, Programs and Volunteers
We work together with other agencies and residents to develop and implement unique programs and services that respond to the needs of our community and enhance quality of life. We support residents in building skills through a variety of community education opportunities and workshops.
Community initiatives include:
- Family Day Unplugged - disconnect to connect with yourself, your family and your community
- Neighbour Day & Great Neighbour Stories
- Sustainable Plan-it - curriculum based program for grade six students
- Where Character Lives - positive character development
- Everybody Can - affordable services for our residents
- Everybody Gets To Play - Recreation access program
