Operation Lunch Box

With "Operation Lunch Box", we aim to raise money for healthy food items for the Strathcona Food Bank. The goal for this project is to help children and youth in need right here in Strathcona County. In April 2010, we raised over $2,400. That's a lot of food!

Have you seen the giant lunch box?

Keep an eye out at Sherwood Park Mall and the Community Centre for the giant lunch box. Donate healthy food items to help fill lunch boxes across our community

Global Youth Service Day

Global Youth Service Day falls on the April 15 to 16 weekend. Youth around the world volunteer and make a difference in their local communities.

The Youth Council are a few of these volunteers. This year we spent the afternoon at Clover Bar Lodge to build relationships with seniors and show them that we care!

Youth Advisory Committee

This is an appointed committee of Youth Council members that meet with Councillor Botterill. They give input to County Council on current youth issues and needs.
