Census workers are now visiting door-to-door to collect information from households that did not complete their census online or by phone during the first phase.

Municipal census information is important to:
- Plan for programs and services
- Secure maximum grant funding based on population
All census information is collected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Census information is only released at the aggregate level.
