Strathcona County 2010 Election - Monday, October 18, 2010
Hours of work: 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure voters have completed the Voting Register and observe voters sign the form
- Issue ballots to voters
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Previous experience as an election worker is an asset
- Demonstrated good oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to read maps
- Demonstrated ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public
- Must be able to assist electors in wheelchairs
- Must be able to arrange your own transportation to and from the voting station
The wage for this Election Day position is $200.
