With the Millennium Card, you can enjoy a variety of drop-in activities and programs at five fabulous facilities including Millennium Place, the Glen Allan Recreation Complex, Strathcona Wilderness Centre, the Kinsmen Leisure Centre and the newly revitalized Ardrossan Recreation Complex. How does a family discount work?
Family rate is variable depending on number of people in family and ages. In order to receive a discount each family needs one adult paying $40. For example; for a family of 2 adults and 2 children under 18 years old the cost per month is $40 (first adult), $34 (additional adult), 2 kids at $12 each (discounted child/youth) to total $98 a month.
How to sign-up for the Millennium Card?
There are two easy payment options, so you can choose the method that suits you best. PLUS - no sign-up fees and no contract!
- Pre-authorized payment plan
To sign-up, visit us at Millennium Place, Glen Allan Recreation Complex, Kinsmen Leisure Centre, Strathcona Wilderness Centre or Ardrossan Recreation Complex and bring with you a VOID cheque, a piece of valid ID and payment for the first month. An automatic bank withdrawal is then processed on the 15th of each month.
- Annual pass
You can also pay with cash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex or cheque for an annual card by paying the entire amount at the time of purchase.
- Annual payment plan
Pay 50% down (with cash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex or cheque) followed by three equal payments of the remaining amount for a one-year period using a credit card.
How do I cancel or suspend my card?
A perk to the Millennium Card is that you are not locked into a contract. Cancel or suspend your Card at anytime without having to pay a cancellation/suspension fee. Cards can be suspended for a minimum of two months up to a maximum of six, once per year. A payment will not be processed during your suspension.
If you wish to cancel or suspend your Card, visit one of our Customer Service Representatives at Millennium Place, Glen Allan Recreation Complex, Kinsmen Leisure Centre, Strathcona Wilderness Centre or Ardrossan Recreation Complex or email millenniumcard@strathcona.ca before the 10th day of the month or next business day to stop your payment for the current month.
