All resent changes to Strathcona County Transit can be found here.Important changes to Dial-A-Bus -- Starting April 30, 2012
New Dial-A-Bus service area map
Dial-A-Bus will be changing routes 409, 410, 411 and 412. These changes, listed below, have been designed to optimize connection to our commuter service while having passengers spend as little time as possible travelling. For some it will mean riding a different dial-a-bus route, for others pick up and drop off timing will be affected. We recognize these changes will take some getting used to, but ultimately, they will make the service more effective for everyone.
Changes include:
409
- 409 will no longer service any stops east of Sherwood Drive. The 412 will now service these areas.
- 409 will continue to connect with the 410 and 411 at the Sherwood Park Mall on the :15 and :40 minutes.
411
- 411 will no longer service stops north of Baseline Road. Again, the 412 will cover tis area.
- 411 will continue to connect with the 409 and 410 at the Sherwood Park Mall on the :15 and :40 minutes.
412
- Service will now run hourly from the Transit Centre on Ordze Road. Not every half hour.
- 412 service area will include all stops north of Baseline and east of Sherwood Drive.
- 412 will no longer connect with routes at the Sherwood Park Mall. It will stop there but passengers will have to wait for their connections on the :15 and :40 minutes.
- By request, the 412 will connect with the 409 at Strathcona Station on Bethel Drive.
Note:
Residence in the Estates will now have hourly service on the 410
