The purpose of Bylaw 51-2011 is to make it mandatory for property owners to clear ice and snow from sidewalks.
A Public Input Session provides an opportunity for members of the public to speak to Council on the proposed bylaw.
You may register until the end of the day, Monday, November 28, 2011. People who register in advance are heard first. At the meeting, you also have the option of having your name added to the list of speakers. Presentation time is limited to five minutes for each speaker. The names of presenters become part of the public record. Other personal information is protected by the privacy provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection (FOIP) Act.
Written comments are also accepted.
