Traffic Safety Strategic Plan
In July 2008, Council approved the Traffic Safety Strategic Plan for Strathcona County.
The plan identifies programs and requirements for maintaining and improving traffic safety on the County's roads for the next 10 years, with the goal of providing the safest roads possible.
This plan includes a vision, mission and targets for traffic safety in the County. It lays out five short-term strategies, three medium-term strategies and three long-term strategies. There is also discussion on the role of the Office of Traffic Safety.
