Waste collection & recycling
Refresh your Green Routine!
Can you believe it has already been five years since waste services known as the Green Routine, which includes curbside recycling, organics collection, and roll-out collection carts kicked off? The community has done a great job adopting the Green Routine and we have truly come a long way.
Don’t stop now Strathcona County, it is time to refresh your Green Routine!
It is time to break those bad habits and put organics, recycling, and waste in their place every time. Unsure of where something goes? Take a look at our online A-Z list. During the summer months Utilities staff will be traveling to neighbourhoods near you to do quick, visual audits on your waste, organics and recyling left at the curb on collection day. Get a star sticker and you've been noticed for doing a great job! Have questions about the program? Contact Utilities at 780-449-5514 or at greenroutine@strathcona.ca.
