rathcona County conducted Municipal and School Trustee Elections on Monday, October 18, 2010.
36.6% of our residents exercised their right to vote!
Elections were held for the following positions:
- Mayor
- Councillors (8)
- Elk Island Catholic School Trustees
- Elk Island Public School Trustees
Local authority elections are held every 3 years.
Strathcona County consists of 8 wards, 3 rural and 5 urban.
All candidates must submit their campaign disclosure statements to Legislative and Legal Services on or before March 1, 2011.
