Awards of Excellence 2024 - Nominate by March 25

Contributing to the community, excelling in athletics, fostering economic diversity, and demonstrating outstanding leadership are among the many ways in which residents and groups are positively influencing Strathcona County. To honor these remarkable contributions and accomplishments, citizens are encouraged to nominate individuals, local businesses, or community groups for the 2024 Strathcona County Awards of Excellence.

“The Awards of Excellence is a chance for us to honor these remarkable individuals, businesses and community groups for their contributions and positive influence on our community.” says Mayor Rod Frank. “Each year, I am inspired by their endeavors and significant role in enhancing the quality of life for those living within our County. We are grateful for all our community builders!”

The 2024 Strathcona County Awards of Excellence categories are: Agricultural Leadership; Arts, Culture and Heritage; Athletic Achievement; Community Service; Economic Diversification; Heroism and Leadership; Outstanding Group; Service to Seniors; and Youth.

This year’s award ceremony will take place at Festival Place on June 20.
